About the role

  • Participate in the execution of ongoing projects as a summer trainee (Project Engineer)
  • Support project managers and perform independently tasks related to the projects
  • Project planning and time management
  • Coordination of design work and document management
  • Supplier management
  • Creating a work breakdown structure and time schedules, as well as project progress follow up
  • Creating/reviewing Project Management training content and/or implementing training content into Fortum digital learning platform

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of Project Management principles and techniques
  • Good knowledge in MS Project will be considered as a plus
  • Education in Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management or Energy Technology are considered an advantage
  • Organized approach to work tasks. Structured and detail-oriented way of working, and not afraid of routine tasks either.
  • Proactiveness, perseverance and effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability.
  • Structured and detail-oriented way of working, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Outgoing team player and a "can do" attitude.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to cooperate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good command of English language. Finnish and Swedish language skills will be considered as a plus
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and create training content for Project Professionals
