About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive Global Project Delivery
  • Own the successful delivery of multiple complex programmes
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and change throughout the lifecycle
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships that drive satisfaction, trust, and repeat business
  • Lead communication, escalation, and governance forums
  • Lead cross-functional project teams across global locations
  • Empower teams to deliver with autonomy, accountability, and excellence
  • Coach, mentor, and develop project leaders and future talent
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resourcing strategies
  • Oversee scope, timelines, and financial performance
  • Drive continuous improvement using lessons learned
  • Ensure delivery meets regulatory (GxP) and business requirements
  • Lead risk management and quality assurance activities
  • Maintain rigorous project governance and documentation standards
  • Support business development through presentations and proposals
  • Partner with internal teams to shape compelling client solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience leading complex IT projects or programmes (9+ years)
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-vendor, global initiatives
  • Strong background in one or more areas: Clinical or healthcare systems, Enterprise or commercial platforms, IT infrastructure or cybersecurity
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong experience working in matrix and cross-functional environments
  • Confident communicator across all levels, including senior stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
