About the role
- Lead and execute with full ownership of the assigned RWE projects.
- Provide programming support for the analysis of real-world data across diverse sources including medical and pharmacy claims data.
- Develop and validate analysis datasets from various file formats and sources.
- Validate and develop graphs and tables for exploratory investigations.
- Ensure excellence in the programming of analysis-ready datasets and figures.
- Develop and maintain required documentation for the deliverables.
- Communicate accurate and timely status updates to project team members.
- Mentor less-experienced RWE analysts.
- Respond to QA and client audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computers, Engineering, Statistics, Health Informatics, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, or Econometrics.
- Typically, 5-7 years of RWE analysis experience in the CRO or Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Experience in handling data from EHR/Claims databases (Optum, Marketscan, Flatiron etc.) is required.
- Proficiency in SAS and SQL programming.
- Ability to communicate RWE study results clearly to non-technical teams.
- Experience in programming languages such as R and Python (preferred).
- Experience with big data and complex data (preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset and logical thinking capability.
- Good understanding of advanced statistical and econometric methods (preferred).
