Key responsibilities & impact

Drive design, functionality, and testing of upper-level automated sortation systems
Lead and assist in the design and programming of new and existing projects
Provide technical oversight and mentoring to junior level engineers
Review electrical designs and provide accurate as-built drawings for approval
Implement PLC and HMI programs to satisfy design and customer specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
7+ years of experience within an industrial controls environment (PLC programming required, HMI Programming expected)
Understanding of VFDs, induction motors, programmable logic controllers, and industrial networks
Experience with low voltage electrical design and drawing understanding
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 - Office Apps
Excellent communication skills and strong leadership capabilities
