About the role
- Manage coordination and completion of Material Handling System (MHS) projects of increasing complexity, scope, and budget
- Ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and within scope
- Work with internal associates, clients, supplier-partners, and service providers
- Develop, deliver, and lead discussions on reports for Fortna management and client leadership
- Plan, lead, and direct work of others; manage risks and project governance
- Support sales team with preliminary schedules, site reviews, and installation plans for moderate scope projects
- Support training delivery and development of internal tools, templates, and trade show material
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-6 years of experience and/or 6-8 years of work experience in industrial, mechanical or civil engineering; industrial or construction management
- Intermediate business acumen competencies
- Can clearly assign responsibility for tasks and decisions
- Intermediate communication skills (listening, verbal, written)
- Broad understanding in the use of rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop and manage project budgets and perform financial analysis
- Advanced time management competencies
- Intermediate to advanced project management skills
- Intermediate presentation development and delivery skills
- Intermediate client management and project leadership skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); awareness of Microsoft Project
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally
