About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Partner with Product Owners to prioritize and manage backlogs aligned with clinical workflows, compliance requirements, and customer commitments.
  • Promote continuous delivery of high-quality, compliant healthcare software releases.
  • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, self-organization, and accountability.
  • Remove impediments, manage cross-team dependencies, and maintain delivery focus as a servant leader.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, QA, Regulatory, Clinical Affairs, Implementation, and Customer Success teams.
  • Facilitate alignment for clinical data workflows, interoperability, and EMR, HL7, and FHIR integrations.
  • Drive process improvement through data-driven retrospectives, actionable feedback, and measurable performance improvements.
  • Track and communicate Agile metrics including velocity, burndown, throughput, and defect trends.
  • Configure dashboard widgets and query-based charts to monitor backlog health and identify bottlenecks.
  • Identify process automation and SDLC efficiency opportunities.
  • Align Agile delivery practices with quality management systems and regulatory documentation standards.
  • Partner with QA and Regulatory teams on validation and verification cycles.
  • Reinforce traceability, documentation, and risk-management practices in software releases.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or another relevant field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Agile software delivery, including experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or equivalent certification required.
  • Experience enabling high-performing Agile teams delivering enterprise or clinical software products.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, QA automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with clinical software systems, HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA data privacy requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Proven experience designing dashboards to track and improve team productivity.
  • Experience in healthcare software, medical devices, or other regulated industries strongly preferred.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong servant leadership, collaboration, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Highly organized and adaptable to fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Additional certifications such as SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
