About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, mentor, and coach professionals in the Test Chapter
- Act as a point of contact for chapter members, advocate for their needs, provide guidance, and resolve conflicts
- Ensure chapter work aligns with Agile principles
- Own and maintain test procedures and design checklists
- Drive adoption and integration of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices
- Align chapter goals with broader organizational objectives and Agile practices
- Foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, self-improvement, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with chapter leads, product owners, and scrum masters
- Support career development, provide feedback to D4G goals, identify training opportunities, and provide performance-review input
- Manage the chapter’s training budget and allocate resources
- Coordinate succession planning for chapter continuity and stability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum five years experience with automation testing of software, firmware, and hardware
- Experience leading and managing teams of technical professionals
- Experience with performance management, career development, and team building in a leadership capacity
- Ability to mentor and develop talent for technical and personal growth
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, leaders, and senior stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Passion for continuous improvement and fostering innovation and knowledge sharing
- Understanding of the power utility industry and monitoring players preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices preferred
- Proven Agile-environment experience, preferably in a leadership or mentoring role
