About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and manage strong relationships with OEM and ODM partners, acting as the primary technical and operational interface.
  • Establish clear communication channels, governance models, and escalation paths to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Drive partner performance through structured reviews, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize processes that support an outsourced hardware development model.
  • Drive program discipline around planning, execution, risk management, and change control.
  • Ensure partners adhere to engineering standards, quality expectations, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with product management to translate roadmap priorities into actionable program plans.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment across engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations to ensure successful delivery.
  • Track program milestones, dependencies, and risks, ensuring transparency and proactive mitigation to meet time to market expectations.
  • Serve as a bridge between internal engineering, product and operations teams and external partners, ensuring technical requirements are understood and met.
  • Facilitate design reviews, technical deep dives, and issue‑resolution sessions.
  • Influence decision‑making through data‑driven insights and structured program reporting.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Hardware, or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience in the technology and manufacturing (T&M) industry, particularly with outsourced engagement models.
  • Experience scaling outsourced hardware development programs.
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Ability to bring structure and rigor to ambiguous or evolving environments.
  • Ability to influence without authority across global, cross‑functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (domestic and international)
