About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (e.g., user manuals, data sheets, installation instructions, and programming guides)
- Description of functions, parameters, and interfaces of power supply devices/systems and accessories
- Preparation of information for integration into industrial fieldbus systems
- Analysis of technical requirements and coordination with development, product management, and support, including independent information gathering through dialogue with the relevant departments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., DIN EN 62079, IEEE/documentation standards, CE directives)
- Collaboration in the creation of visual content such as images, graphics, and flow diagrams
- Communicating complex topics from electronics, power electronics, and embedded software in an easily understandable way
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Technical Communication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
- Experience in technical documentation, ideally in power supply devices/systems, embedded systems, or power electronics
- Good knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python)
- Knowledge of and practical experience with industrial fieldbus systems and protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/RTU, EtherCAT, SCPI)
- Understanding of hardware-level systems, control units, and parameterization processes
- Confident use of authoring/content management systems, Adobe InDesign, or similar tools
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Precise, structured writing style and strong technical understanding
- Team player with initiative, commitment, and a strong quality focus
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities
