About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain the simulation toolchain: develop and integrate an end-to-end simulation environment with clearly defined interfaces between hardware, software, and test systems.
- Model-based development (MBSE): create, maintain, and hand over simulation models throughout the entire development lifecycle — from hardware to software — ensuring reusability and compliance with standards.
- Digital twin: build and leverage a digital twin for end-to-end development, validation, and optimization by linking simulation with the real system.
- Work closely with hardware and software developers to translate simulation into real-world implementation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Physics, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in developing electronic circuits with a focus on power electronics and their control systems.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Knowledge of control and regulation techniques for power electronics.
- Experience in model-based development using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice, ANSYS, or similar.
- Team-oriented and able to work independently.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
