About the role
- Define and execute comprehensive QA strategies and roadmaps
- Establish and maintain QA automation frameworks, standards, and architectural patterns
- Lead quality process design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide effectual code review feedback to Development and QA team members
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Operations to ensure feature functionality have proper test coverage and quality
- Utilize expertise within and outside the team to promote quality releases
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test automation strategies
- Actively participate and encourage participation in agile ceremonies including daily stand ups, estimation, and backlog grooming
- Support product releases and assist with 3rd level support
- Champion quality throughout the development process
- Assist with manual test efforts, and coordinate cross-functional testing efforts for the team
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of automation or development experience
- 3+ years of senior-level QA experience
- Experience designing and implementing in-house test automation frameworks and tools
- Experience developing or testing complex cloud solutions
- Experience executing test automation at scale
- Experience configuring & utilizing deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with C# or other object-oriented programming language
- Experience with web-based technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit & Jasmine
