About the role
- Prospect & qualify untapped implant, pharma & biotech accounts, then move them from first call to signed PO and installation.
- Manage the funnel in Salesforce: forecast accurately, track probabilities, and update next actions.
- Expand installed base - ensure customer focused flawless IQ/OQ/PQ, re‑qualification, and ongoing consumable pull‑through.
- Serve as market radar - feed competitive intel and market trends back to Marketing, R&D, and Leadership.
- Fly the ASP flag at major U.S. conferences and select global events (≥ 10 days per year).
- Travel more than 60% nationwide - working remotely with the autonomy of a start-up and the backing of ASP & Fortive resources.
- Deliver aggressive year-over-year sales-growth targets for capital systems and GMP-only H₂O₂ consumables.
- Guide customers through custom-cycle design, validation, and regulatory alignment alongside ASP and external experts.
- Turn green‑field demand into sustainable revenue and lead market shift away from ethylene oxide.
Requirements
- 10+ years in medical devices or life‑science capital equipment, 3+ years quota‑carrying sales or market‑development success.
- Documented record of hitting or beating annual growth goals, especially on $150 k+ capital deals.
- Functional knowledge of sterilization, validation, GMP quality systems and ISO standards like 22441
- Entrepreneurial spirit, fearless prospecting skills, and comfort navigating both C-suite meetings and clean-room floors.
- Bachelor’s degree (science, engineering, or business) or an equivalent history of top-tier performance.
- Bonus: VHP or low‑temperature sterilization expertise; existing network in implant, pharma, or biotech manufacturing.
