About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designing, testing, and delivering high-quality software solutions
- Work with a cross functional team to implement solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with other engineers to ensure high quality, secure cloud infrastructure solutions
- Utilize latest technologies and test automation platforms for SaaS products in CI/CD environment.
- Learn and leverage cutting edge technologies and tools to drive testing efficiencies
- Proactively research industry trends and best practices and apply them
- Leverage existing automation frameworks to decrease lead time
- Ensure quality throughout the CI/CD pipeline
- Provide code review feedback to Development and QA team members
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Operations for proper test coverage
- Manually verify and validate new features and bugs
- Develop test cases and test automation strategies
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies including stand ups, estimation, and backlog grooming
- Support product releases and assist with 3rd level support
- Champion quality throughout development process
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of automation or development experience
- Expertise authoring API and E2E tests
- Experience developing or testing complex cloud solutions
- Experience executing test automation at scale
- Experience utilizing deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Hands-on experience in contributing to in-house test automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with C# or other object-oriented programming language
- Experience with web-based technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit & Jasmine
