About the role
- Plan, execute, and close projects according to deadlines, budget, and scope
- Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring teams are aligned on goals, priorities, and responsibilities
- Identify, monitor, and manage risks, issues, and changes to keep projects on track
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Translate evolving or high-level project goals into structured plans, ensuring progress and alignment across teams
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and contractual commitments
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, applying Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement tools.
Requirements
- Professional certifications **(PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) required**; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing or related industries, with a track record of leading cross-functional projects
- Strong project management skills: scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management
- Experience coordinating teams across multiple functions (engineering, operations, quality, marketing, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, team members, and clients
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and process adherence
- Experience interfacing directly with customers, managing expectations, and facilitating successful outcomes
- Experience leading or contributing to product development initiatives designed to meet customer needs or address market opportunities
- Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies to drive project/process efficiency and quality
- Proven ability to manage projects with evolving requirements or high-level objectives, translating ambiguity into clear plans and actionable steps
