About the role

  • Support the COO in executing high-level strategic goals and priorities from initiation through delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between the COO and operational units to ensure alignment and effective strategy execution.
  • Lead and drive special projects and cross-functional programs from concept to execution that impacts field operations.
  • Develop frameworks and narratives to support strategic planning and communication.
  • Own and optimize Procurement operating cadence, including revenue management, forecasting, and planning cycles.
  • Conduct regular business health reviews and lead cross-functional efforts.
  • Ensure alignment across teams and timely execution of key deliverables.
  • Track and report progress on strategic initiatives and operational KPIs.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of process improvements leveraging Fortive Business Systems (FBS).

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 8+ years in operations, strategy, consulting, or similar roles, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and driving outcomes.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and handling confidential information.
  • Familiarity with analytics and data-driven decision-making (preferred).
