About the role

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for IT Operations, including production monitoring, and enterprise systems support.
  • Develop and implement IT operational strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring a proactive and resilient IT environment.
  • Collaborate with CIO, IT leadership, and business stakeholders to define service-level expectations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide monitoring of critical applications, infrastructure, and services to ensure system performance, availability, and resiliency.
  • Establish best-in-class monitoring frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards for proactive detection and resolution of issues.
  • Lead incident and problem management processes to minimize downtime and ensure timely root-cause analysis.
  • Drive automation and AIOps initiatives to enhance monitoring and reduce manual intervention.
  • Define and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Implement knowledge management, self-service portals, and modern support tools to improve efficiency and end-user satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous service improvement.
  • Ensure IT Operations complies with regulatory requirements, audit standards, and security best practices.
  • Partner with Information Security and Infrastructure teams to maintain a secure and resilient technology environment.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT Operations team, fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer service excellence.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts related to IT operations and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressive IT operations experience, with proven expertise in production monitoring, IT service management, and enterprise operations
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, monitoring platforms, and service desk technologies
  • Experience with automation, cloud platforms, and modern IT operations practices (e.g., AIOps, DevOps)
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
