About the role

  • Build and maintain quality assurance frameworks and central test framework
  • Contribute to test automation and efficiency tools for QA and Product teams
  • Work internally with Unity and SDK teams to develop and research solutions
  • Partner with QA and Development leaders to identify opportunities and select technologies
  • Contribute to architecture and test suites to meet quality assurance goals
  • Create initial core test suites and define quality from early stages
  • Build automated tests for internal tooling and provide support and maintenance of test architecture
  • Define tooling and solutions as best practices for QA automation and Fortis QA advanced test strategy

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python)
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and Node.js
  • Experience testing SDK's for web and mobile
  • Define & monitor quality rules in Datadog, Intrinsic, BugSnag and similar
  • Contribution to building or extending automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO (WDIO)
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, and messaging services
  • Familiarity with RDBMS such as Postgres and ability to write SQL queries
  • Familiarity with MongoDB Atlas (asset)
  • Strong understanding of API contract testing and Linux environments
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and DevOps tooling (Terraform, Terragrunt)
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate in a global team
