About the role

  • Drive initiatives that enable our QA and Product teams to move faster and with greater confidence.
  • Determine the right technologies and architect scalable solutions that contribute to a comprehensive quality coverage strategy and track against key performance metrics.
  • Engage in a regular feedback cycle to ensure we’re building what the team really needs.
  • Leverage your expertise to lead other engineers tasked with tackling larger project demands.
  • Create tools that enhance efficiency and productivity for QA and Development operations, such as designing and deploying bots for stress testing.
  • Integrate ongoing quality efforts throughout the development process, including build pipelines, automation frameworks, performance metrics, and other internal tooling.
  • Establish implementation best practices for the team, ensuring code is optimized for performance and scalability across various environments and project demands.
  • Participate in defining the overall Fortis QA advanced test strategy for all projects.

Requirements

  • Experience programming in C# and at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or JavaScript)
  • Strong knowledge of Unity and Unity-specific tooling for game development
  • Experience building game bots or AI systems
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, and messaging services
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity), including integration with QA automation frameworks
  • Experience designing and building internal development tools
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams, gather requirements, and ensure successful project delivery
  • Leadership skills, including providing technical direction and mentoring junior engineers
