About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical expertise during partner and customer pre-sales engagements, including product demos, proofs of concept, and presentations
Understand customer requirements and design custom security solutions with channel sales teams
Address partner technical queries and concerns with practical solutions
Conduct training and technical enablement sessions for channel partners
Create and deliver technical training materials, documentation, and toolkits with marketing and product teams
Stay current with cybersecurity products, technologies, and trends
Architect and design threat detection, firewall, endpoint security, and cloud security solutions
Support solution configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and client-environment integration
Serve as a technical advisor for key channel partners through ongoing post-sales support and consultation
Collaborate on complex customer requirements and cybersecurity strategies
Bridge channel partners with internal support or R&D teams to resolve technical issues
Communicate customer feedback to product management and R&D teams
Recommend deployment, integration, and configuration optimizations
Assist in creating technical marketing content, including whitepapers, case studies, and product guides

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering, solution architecture, or technical support roles within the cybersecurity or IT industry
Experience working in a pre-sales capacity with channel partners or VARs (Value Added Resellers)
Strong understanding of cybersecurity products and services, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint security, and cloud security
Hands-on experience with network security technologies, system architecture, and protocols
Proficiency in Linux/Unix, Windows, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Fluency in German and English is a must
