About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with internal sales and engineering teams.
  • Customer-facing presentations on Fortinet’s solutions.
  • Technical presentations and demos of Fortinet’s Fabric.
  • Translate customer technical requirements.
  • Internal sales presentations on product positioning.
  • Create technical documents, white papers, videos, and demos.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on market needs.
  • Build competitive analysis on market players.
  • Support sales activities as a strategic technical resource.
  • Assist marketing teams in understanding market needs.
  • Coordinate and run solution demonstrations and labs.
  • Represent the company at conferences and marketing events.
  • Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in SecOps: SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Incident Response, Threat Hunting.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks: NIST, MITRE, CMM.
  • Understanding of networking protocols: TCP/ IP, Ethernet, VLANs, IP Routing (BGP, OSPF), VXLAN.
  • Knowledge in authentication technologies: 802.1x, SSL, IPSec, LDAP, RADIUS, Active Directory, Digital Certificates / PKI, SAML.
  • Wireless domain experience – RF propagation, 802.11 protocol and security required.
  • At least five years of experience on engineering pre-sales activities.
  • Ability to learn new knowledge areas independently.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable speaking in public.
  • Minimum of seven years experience in SecOps.
  • Previous experience in sales is a plus.
