About the role
- Provide on-site and remote support to users for all IT-related issues
- Educate users on current and new applications, systems, and services
- Ensure data confidentiality and system security
- Test and evaluate new hardware, software, services, and systems
- Support the rollout of new applications and services across the Forterro Group
- Administer Windows-based environments
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems (servers and workstations)
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues
- Replace computer components as needed
- Administer Azure and on-premises Active Directory
- Manage cloud-based applications (e.g., Office 365, ticketing systems, Atlassian tools)
- Monitor networks and systems
- Create and maintain procedural documentation and reports
- Propose improvements and new solutions
- Support business operations (e.g., budget proposals, cost allocation, control, and reporting)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within large international IT systems
- Strong knowledge of computer systems (software, hardware, devices, technologies)
- Solid expertise in Windows system technologies
- Eagerness to learn and master new technologies
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Curiosity and openness to new IT systems and infrastructure solutions
- Knowledge of cloud solutions is a plus
- Strong internal customer orientation
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong analytical skills
