About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Calculate and review Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ) and Social Contribution on Net Profit (CSLL), both current and deferred, ensuring correct measurement in accordance with applicable legislation;
- Prepare and validate the composition of taxable income under the Lucro Real regime, including tax additions, exclusions and offsets;
- Prepare and review tax compliance filings related to direct taxes (ECF, ECD – fiscal part, PER/DCOMP, among others);
- Support tax audits and inspections, both internal and external, providing technical assistance and supporting documentation;
- Monitor and analyze variations in the taxable bases and effective rates for IRPJ/CSLL, explaining impacts on financial results;
- Maintain and control tax balances (tax loss carryforwards, negative CSLL base and temporary differences);
- Support proper accounting for current and deferred taxes, ensuring adherence to accounting standards (CPC 32 / IAS 12);
- Identify tax risks and opportunities, proposing improvements to tax measurement and control processes;
- Monitor changes in tax legislation, assess impacts and ensure compliance;
- Support accounting reconciliation routines related to taxes, ensuring consistency between tax and accounting records;
- Collaborate with the indirect taxes team on reconciliation and closing activities;
- Interact with internal areas (Tax, Controllership, Legal, IT) to align information and processes;
- Contribute to strengthening the company's internal controls and tax governance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
- Solid experience in measuring IRPJ and CSLL, preferably in companies under the Lucro Real tax regime;
- In-depth knowledge in preparing the ECF and other federal tax filings;
- Strong knowledge of direct tax legislation and its practical application;
- Experience calculating and controlling deferred income tax and social contribution;
- Knowledge of accounting standards applicable to taxes (CPC 32 / IAS 12);
- Experience supporting audits (Big Four experience is a plus);
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Protheus (TOTVS);
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
- Analytical profile, with ability to interpret legislation and assess risks;
- Organized, with a sense of priorities and strong deadline orientation;
- Good communication and ability to interact with different departments.
