About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop tools and SDKs for confidential computing platforms.
- Support other teams within Fortanix to use tools related to confidential computing platforms developed internally.
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions that meet security and performance standards.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues spanning application, runtime, kernel, and platform layers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in security and confidential computing.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices in software development, and maintain high standards of code quality.
- Drive the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and processes to improve development efficiency and product quality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A passion for systems programming and low-level software development, particularly in x86-based environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and an appreciation for modern programming languages and abstractions, particularly Rust.
- Solid understanding of Linux kernel and operating system fundamentals.
- A desire to work within a small, highly collaborative team and help grow its technical expertise and impact.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with C/C++ or Rust.
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
