About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop tools and SDKs for confidential computing platforms.
Support other teams within Fortanix to use tools related to confidential computing platforms developed internally.
Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions that meet security and performance standards.
Investigate and resolve complex issues spanning application, runtime, kernel, and platform layers.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in security and confidential computing.
Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices in software development, and maintain high standards of code quality.
Drive the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and processes to improve development efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A passion for systems programming and low-level software development, particularly in x86-based environments.
Strong software engineering fundamentals and an appreciation for modern programming languages and abstractions, particularly Rust.
Solid understanding of Linux kernel and operating system fundamentals.
A desire to work within a small, highly collaborative team and help grow its technical expertise and impact.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with C/C++ or Rust.
Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
