About the role

  • Develop tools and SDKs for confidential computing platforms.
  • Support other teams within Fortanix to use tools related to confidential computing platforms developed internally
  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions that meet security and performance standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in security and confidential computing.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices in software development, and maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Drive the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and processes to improve development efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

  • A passion for low-level software (mainly x86)
  • Experience working with secure enclaves, confidential computing or Trusted Execution Environments (for example: Intel SGX, Intel TDX, AMD-SEV, Nitro Enclaves, etc).
  • A knack for higher level construct to ensure code quality (e.g., Rust)
  • Knowledgeable of the Linux kernel
  • Dedication to be part of a small, young team and help it grow its expertise
  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience with C/C++ or Rust
  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
