About the role

  • Analyze mainframe components (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, Procs, and file structures) to assess functionality and required changes.
  • Review and interpret existing code to determine technical impacts and dependencies.
  • Investigate end to end flows within the mainframe environment to identify risks and critical areas.
  • Collaborate with project teams to clarify requirements and provide technical insights.
  • Provide clear and timely updates on analysis findings to delivery teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong hands on experience with mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, Procs, and file structures.
  • Proven ability to analyze and understand complex codebases.
  • Ability to document analyses and communicate findings to both technical and non technical audiences.
  • Experience working in dynamic environments with tight deadlines.
  • Previous exposure to mainframe modernization initiatives.
