About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and lead Form Energy's corporate compliance program
Serve as the primary legal point of contact for compliance matters
Manage and administer the company's insider trading compliance program
Support the company's obligations under its government contracts and grant agreements
Advise on environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance matters
Partner with the Finance and Accounting teams on SOX compliance
Develop and deliver compliance training programs across the organization
Monitor regulatory developments affecting Form Energy's business
Manage relationships with outside counsel on compliance-related matters
Support the company's ESG disclosure and sustainability reporting efforts
Perform special projects and other legal responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Substantive experience in corporate compliance, securities law, and/or regulatory matters
Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements, insider trading regulations, SOX compliance, and corporate governance best practices
Experience with government contracts, grants, or regulatory compliance in an energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure context is a strong plus
Previous in-house experience required
JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one state Bar
High emotional intelligence, excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven track record of learning quickly, taking initiative, working proactively and collaboratively
