About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and lead Form Energy's corporate compliance program
  • Serve as the primary legal point of contact for compliance matters
  • Manage and administer the company's insider trading compliance program
  • Support the company's obligations under its government contracts and grant agreements
  • Advise on environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance matters
  • Partner with the Finance and Accounting teams on SOX compliance
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs across the organization
  • Monitor regulatory developments affecting Form Energy's business
  • Manage relationships with outside counsel on compliance-related matters
  • Support the company's ESG disclosure and sustainability reporting efforts
  • Perform special projects and other legal responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Substantive experience in corporate compliance, securities law, and/or regulatory matters
  • Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements, insider trading regulations, SOX compliance, and corporate governance best practices
  • Experience with government contracts, grants, or regulatory compliance in an energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure context is a strong plus
  • Previous in-house experience required
  • JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one state Bar
  • High emotional intelligence, excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of learning quickly, taking initiative, working proactively and collaboratively
