Key responsibilities & impact

Own the Electromechanical component category and build partnerships with strategic suppliers
Act as the primary contact with suppliers on contract and pricing negotiations
Drive commercial cost negotiations based on cost-models and market conditions
Monitor market conditions and technology roadmaps to identify supply challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute sourcing strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of strategic sourcing, category management, or similar applicable experience in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment
Deep expertise managing procurement for customized electronic assemblies, control panels or wire harnesses for use in battery systems or other similar products
Outstanding data evaluation and analysis skills
Excellent communication skills; experience presenting clear recommendations to leadership
Ability to travel domestically and internationally approx. 30% of the time
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or similar discipline
