Account Manager, Pavo Pferdefutter
ForFarmersAccount Manager managing regional sales and client relationships for Pavo Pferdefutter, a leading horse feed brand. Focusing on market development and customer partnerships in North-East Germany.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As Account Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for your region holistically – strategically, commercially and operationally:
- Market development & Sales: You support the launch of new products and ensure optimal placement of our existing range with dealers, retailers and online shops.
- Customer consulting & retention: You manage and expand our customer base (retailers, retail chains and end customers/horse owners) through intensive personal support and tailored advice on commercial and operational matters.
- Strategic partnership: You act as a sparring partner for business owners and advise retailers on strategic decisions.
- Sales promotion: You plan and manage POS activities and customer campaigns in brick-and-mortar retail as well as in online shops. You effectively integrate online and offline measures.
- Networking & events: You support customers on training and feeding and actively participate in trade fairs, open days and sponsorship activities.
- Market monitoring: You keep a close eye on market developments and trends and pass relevant insights on to the internal organization.
- Administration: You maintain the CRM system, record agreements accurately and maintain budget control within the automated system.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Equine Science, business/commerce or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in sales
- Good network and market knowledge in Northeast Germany
- Strong negotiation skills, excellent communicator and entrepreneurial mindset
- Proactive, dedicated and opportunity-focused
- Business-fluent German and good English; Dutch skills are an advantage but not required
- Passion for horses and an affinity with equestrian sport
