About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end integration processes (Application integration, B2B, and APIs) using Boomi AtomSphere.
Connect core systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, HRIS, Databases) to ensure seamless, real-time data synchronization.
Monitor integration logs, troubleshoot data mapping anomalies, and optimize pipeline performance.
Architect, configure, and maintain advanced Jira workflows, screen schemes, and permission structures.
Build sophisticated automation rules using Jira’s native Automation engine and plugins like ScriptRunner or JSU.
Build custom integrations between Jira and external technical tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, CI/CD pipelines, or ITSM tools) using Boomi, Webhooks, and REST APIs.
Establish best practices for data integrity, API management, and Atlassian governance to prevent tool sprawl and technical debt.
Maintain detailed technical documentation for all integrations and automated workflows.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced Integrator: You have 2+ years of hands-on experience building integrations on the Boomi platform, including XML/JSON mapping, data profiling, and custom Groovy/JavaScript scripting.
Atlassian Specialist: You have 2+ years of experience administering and automating Jira Cloud or Data Center, including deep familiarity with JQL (Jira Query Language) and API usage.
Technical Developer: You bring strong proficiency in scripting (Groovy or JavaScript) for custom data manipulation in Boomi and script-based automation in Jira (ScriptRunner).
API Fluent: You possess a strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and HTTP protocols.
Automation Mindset: You have a natural instinct to look at a repetitive manual process and figure out how to automate it, backed by excellent consulting skills to gather non-technical business requirements.
Nice to Have: Boomi Certified: Boomi Associate or Professional Integration Developer certification. Atlassian Certified: Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator (ACP) or equivalent automation badges.
