About the role
- Manage a team of 4-5 engineers on quality and timeliness of software
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and quarterly reviews with team members
- Spend 20-30% of time coding, 40-50% on technical leadership, and 20-40% on managerial duties
- Mentor junior engineers and provide hands-on support
- Collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 1-2+ years of management experience managing engineers on a small team
- Ability to provide actionable, constructive feedback
- Working understanding of Typescript, React.js, GraphQL, and Node.js
- Familiarity with AWS for deployment
- Experience with modern development tools and practices
