Deliver scalable Java applications and optimize performance using data structures, algorithms, and JVM knowledge

Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for frequent and reliable releases
Debug distributed systems and drive root-cause analysis
Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and track tasks in Jira
Collaborate cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
Mentor teammates
Drive monolith-to-microservices transformations and improve scalability, resilience, and deployment speed

Requirements

What you’ll need

7–8 years of professional experience delivering scalable Java applications
Expert in Java 8/11/17+ and JVM internals
Proven skills in data structures and algorithms
Highly proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs
Experience building scalable microservices with Spring Boot
Hands-on experience with GCP Cloud Run and Red Hat OpenShift
Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines
Experience debugging distributed systems and driving root-cause analysis
Experience participating in Agile sprint ceremonies and Jira-based task tracking
Proficiency with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases, including Postgres
Knowledge of security, unit/integration testing, and code quality
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
