About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with stakeholders to define, scope, prioritize, and deliver major ADAS software initiatives across multiple teams and organizations
- Align stakeholder needs across the product development organization
- Plan, manage, and lead development and delivery of ADAS software, tooling, and support software
- Execute roadmaps, schedules, project plans, and resourcing plans
- Lead execution of technical plans, including milestone progress, dependency tracking, risk management, and mitigation
- Lead cross-functional Systems, Software, Feature, Supplier, V&V, and Quality teams to drive on-time, high-quality software delivery
- Support technical leaders and engineers in resolving dependencies and technical issues
- Provide regular project updates through wikis, Jira, Teams, email, and other communication channels
- Communicate and present project status to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify and manage project risks, including mitigation and recovery plans
- Use work management and project management tools to make plans and status visible to leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Controls Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in SW Program Management in an embedded technical software discipline
- 5+ years’ experience using industry-standard project management tools for product development and delivery, such as MS Project or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience using JIRA or equivalent for product development and delivery
- Ability to understand complex technical issues and present adjusted levels of detail for the target audience
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field
- Preferred: 7+ years’ experience in SW Program Management within the automotive domain
- Strong background in embedded software development and understanding of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
- Experience managing complex technical software workstreams in Diagnostics (UDS/DEM/DCM), Software Download (SWDL), OTA updates, or Vision/Image Processing
- Experience leading cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Expert knowledge of Agile development methods
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodology
- Mastery of technical plan development, including task identification, breakdown, and timing
- Extensive experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, and GitHub
- Extensive experience using Confluence to develop and maintain rich-content wiki pages
- Proven written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at various organizational levels
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable
