About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and articulate the AI product vision with business partners, aligning it with Ford’s digital transformation goals
- Understand target audiences and personas to define problems to solve with AI
- Define and drive product roadmaps
- Prioritize product features and enhancements using customer feedback, data-driven insights, and business impact
- Define quantitative and qualitative success measures
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business units and translate needs into product features
- Manage stakeholder relationships and provide progress, challenge, and opportunity updates
- Liaise between technical teams and business units to align goals
- Champion iterative development, MVP delivery, and continuous improvement
- Lead cross-functional AI product teams through design, development, and deployment
- Prioritize, plan, and deliver scalable, secure, reliable AI solutions
- Drive AI/ML integration into customer- and business-facing applications
- Define specifications, requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Create discovery, scoping, PRD, journey map, opportunity tree, and user story assets
- Maintain an actionable development backlog
- Track and analyze product metrics and KPIs
- Design onboarding and training programs to increase adoption
- Gather and analyze user feedback, conduct experiments and interviews, and validate product insights
- Develop documentation, guides, and best practices
- Monitor AI and cloud computing trends and foster continuous improvement
- Participate in the Product Management Community of Practice and improve agile PM processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 5+ years with progressive responsibilities in an agile software development environment
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager defining product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and managing backlogs
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, eXtreme Programming, and Kanban
- Skilled in defining and prioritizing product features
- Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and business partners
- Experience delivering products to market with an Agile development team
- Experience with ongoing development and support of production applications
- Experience or practice in Lean/Lean Startup, human-centered product development, and Agile software development
- Exposure to user story mapping and/or rapid prototyping
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
