About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and decision automotive loan applications submitted to Ford Credit
  • Understand divisional financing plans, programs, and requirements and adhere to policy and procedure
  • Analyze applications to determine investigation needs, including potential fraud or misrepresentation
  • Promote Ford Motor Company and Ford Credit products and services
  • Leverage relationships to maintain consistent decisioning standards based on credit indicators and key business metrics
  • Maintain a sales and relationship mindset to ensure high dealer and customer satisfaction
  • Drive Dealer Satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) initiatives
  • Support diversity initiatives
  • Assist team efforts during busy periods, holidays, and sales events
  • Participate in coaching and learning opportunities to improve skills
  • Handle calls and collaborate on loan applications with Ford dealers and Lincoln retailers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Business Administration or related business degree
  • Basic understanding of consumer and/or commercial credit
  • Basic understanding of financial analysis, sales, collections, customer care, and relationship management
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite core applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining organization and time management
  • Analytical and quick decision-making skills
  • Ability to independently identify and implement solutions to problems and challenges
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to adapt communication style and approach
  • Availability for a flexible Monday–Friday schedule including some evenings, holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed, generally one to two weeks per year
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connectivity and a quiet, distraction-minimized home workspace
  • Must live within reasonable commuting distance of the Nashville, TN office
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
