About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain partnerships with UAW leadership and ESSP Representatives to support employee wellness and engagement initiatives
  • Develop and deliver the annual training program for ESSP Representatives
  • Administer annual intervention training as contractually required
  • Support and participate in 2028 collective bargaining activities through subject matter expertise, data analysis, benchmarking, cost modeling, proposal development, and implementation planning
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for assigned programs, ensuring effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Provide strategic oversight of vendor relationships and performance, including service expectations and KPI monitoring
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee and stakeholder escalations
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to address issues and implement solutions
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, plan governance requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations
  • Develop and draft collective bargaining agreement language related to assigned programs and benefits
  • Support annual enrollment communication materials
  • Analyze employee feedback, utilization data, demographics, benchmarks, market trends, and costs to optimize health, wellness, and support programs
  • Apply Lean Principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience with a Master's degree, or 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • Degree preferably in Labor Relations, Total Rewards, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • Occasional lifting of no more than 10 pounds
  • Ability to perform primarily seated work involving repetitive hand-finger actions
  • Ability to work in low to moderate noise levels
  • Minimal domestic travel, typically up to once per quarter
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
