About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a product or product family across the full product lifecycle, from ideation and business case development through delivery, adoption, and sunset
  • Translate product vision into a prioritized backlog of epics and user stories with Business Partners and Product Owners
  • Lead end-to-end project management, including requirements, scope, timelines, roadmaps, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
  • Manage JIRA and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
  • Track and report project health, escalating and resolving blockers proactively
  • Balance business viability, user desirability, and technical feasibility with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with Product Designers, Architects, Software Engineers, data scientists, DevOps, automation, controls, and manufacturing teams
  • Define product specifications, requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Develop project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports for on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Apply product discovery techniques and conduct customer discovery through interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Monitor platform performance, adoption, and usage data after launch and prioritize improvements
  • Communicate product strategy, status, and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Prepare regular product and project performance updates for leadership
  • Deliver measurable business value against OKRs/KPIs and support organizational change management
  • Coach Business Partners on iterative and incremental delivery approaches

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a product manager, project manager, or software engineering role
  • Experience owning or managing critical applications for industrial use cases
  • Blend of business, manufacturing, and technical expertise
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risk
  • Experience with Agile/Lean product delivery practices, backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritization frameworks
  • Experience driving business OKRs/KPIs through product development, data analysis, and user experience optimization
  • Strong analytical skills focused on data-driven product and project decision-making
  • Proficiency with modern technology stacks
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and AI technologies
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development, Pair Programming, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience presenting to executive stakeholders
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
