About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define new digital products that enhance the customer experience by listening to customer data and feedback
- Develop product artifacts, including PRDs, PRFAQs, and strategy documents, in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Manage the product lifecycle and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with design and engineering
- Balance business viability, user desirability, and technical feasibility while delivering software products
- Partner hands-on with the development team to prioritize, plan, and deliver software that creates excellent user experiences
- Conduct product experiments, user interviews, and other validation techniques to gather customer and product insights
- Analyze customer and market data to inform and improve product decisions
- Improve and enhance vehicle controls and electrification experiences within Ford and Lincoln mobile applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience as a product manager for digital products
- Experience with consumer-facing remote vehicle controls
- Demonstrated success leading collaborative efforts among engineering, design, and business teams to achieve shared objectives
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage stakeholders across the organization
- Solid analytical skills
- Familiarity with Agile software methodologies, including Scrum, Extreme Programming, and Kanban
- Demonstrated effectiveness operating in complex organizations
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate product workflows, with examples of measurable impact on speed or process
- Proficiency with Figma's prototyping features and backlog management in Jira
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
