About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead sourcing efforts for the Cockpit commodities
Drive initiatives across sourcing strategy development, program sourcing activities, material cost reduction, risk and resilience management, supplier relationship management, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and resilient supply solutions
Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and manage positive relationships with the supply base
Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks
Monitor the financial health of the supply base and develop back-up plans
Serve as a key interface and trusted advisor to various internal skill teams
Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments
Develop category strategy plans and negotiate contracts
Ensure appropriate sign-off on contracts and risk assessments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing
Direct or indirect leadership responsibilities over project teams, initiatives or direct reports preferred
Strong business acumen, team building, collaboration, and communication skills – demonstrated ability to successfully lead cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills - understanding of cost drivers and cost modeling
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
