About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the end-to-end coordination of Engineering BoM digitization and migration initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, IT, and program teams.
  • Drive the transition from legacy BoM management systems to Teamcenter / 3DEXPERIENCE platforms for engineering product structure management.
  • Coordinate integration and alignment between Engineering BoM systems and SAP for downstream manufacturing, procurement, and production processes.
  • Establish governance for BoM accuracy, release and change management processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional workshops to define future-state workflows, system requirements, business rules, and process harmonization.
  • Ensure successful migration, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation of legacy product structure and material master data.
  • Identify process gaps, system dependencies, and operational risks during transition phases and drive mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with IT, system integrators, to support testing, deployment, cutover planning, and user adoption activities.
  • Monitor project timelines, milestone readiness, issue resolution, and transformation KPIs to ensure successful execution.
  • Support organizational change management activities including training coordination, communication planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BoM release efficiency, traceability, digital integration, and data quality across enterprise systems.
  • Act as the central coordination point between engineering operations, manufacturing teams, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation leadership.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree - Engineering
  • Experience in Engineering BoM, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), ERP integration, or digital transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of product structure management, engineering release processes, and manufacturing change control.
  • Hands-on exposure to Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, and/or SAP environments preferred.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders in complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Strong communication, governance, and program coordination skills.
  • Experience working in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial engineering environments is preferred.
  • Candidates from other industries / consulting firms will also be considered if they have demonstrated experience leading Bill of Materials (BoM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and digital transformation initiatives
