About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Direct, mentor, and develop a team of 5–6 operational excellence and program management professionals, fostering a collaborative, continuous-learning environment.
  • Support the development, alignment, and execution of the strategic and tactical actions (SAP) required to transform and standardize Powertrain Program Delivery in alignment with GME standards.
  • Integrate FPS (Ford Production System) principles into early-stage GPDS (Global Product Development System) milestones to guarantee a flawless manufacturing implementation.
  • Establish and govern standard practices that integrate manufacturing engineering constraints early into the product concept phase, minimizing late-stage engineering changes and ensuring seamless launch execution at the plants.
  • Design, deploy, and govern the physical and digital infrastructure for visual management control centers (PT Delivery BCC, ProgramCC, DCC, and ZCC).
  • Champion the integration of mainstream software applications and modern AI productivity tools to streamline Business Control Center tracking, automate data-driven reporting, and drive "connected flow" across global program milestones.
  • Define and update Program Bowlers (KPI Performance Dashboards) to measure program execution health, standardized GPDS gate reviews, and skill team operational alignment.
  • Develop and execute the training strategy, incorporating a Dedicated Competency Assessment and Skills Development plan.
  • Organize and drive cultural change mechanisms such as Program Kaizens, Gemba walks, and LPR (Layered Process Review) cadences to shift leadership focus from firefighting to proactive barrier removal.
  • Cascade the transformation strategy through Quarterly All Hands, Leaders Workshops, Skip-level meetings, and 1:1 structures to ensure regional and global organizational alignment.
  • Model and cultivate Ford OS Behaviors and Servant Leadership across Powertrain Delivery, coaching leaders to shift from traditional program management to supportive mentoring.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams, driving initiatives, or mentoring peers (prior formal people management experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Strong foundational understanding of FPS (Ford Production System) or equivalent Lean Operating Systems, with a desire to further develop these skills.
  • Experience utilizing visual management tools (e.g., Bowlers, KPIs, Obeya/War Rooms) and LPR (Layered Process Review) cadences to track project or program health.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, such as plant teams, engineering peers, and global functional teams (like FPS).
  • Experience participating in or contributing to process improvement, standardization, or organizational change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with mainstream software, collaborative digital platforms (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, SIMPSN), and basic AI productivity tools to drive team efficiency.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to translate SAP (Strategic Action Plans) into tactical, on-the-ground execution.
