Customs Supervisor
Ford Motor CompanyCustoms Supervisor overseeing import/export activities and compliance with Mexican customs laws at Ford. Collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate customs processes.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Extensive experience/knowledge of Customs bonded warehouse
- Support Mexico Customs Insourcing reviewing processes to document them, generate process flows.
- Support import and export coordination among the different sites. Coordinate Customs service providers.
- You will coordinate engagement with suppliers, buyers and other parties involved in the customs process as part of Global Customs strategy.
- This role will be responsible for providing technical and analytical support for customs and trade compliance matters.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade or similar
- 6+ Years of Experience in Customs space: Import and export activities.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Strong understanding of MX customs regulations, international trade laws, and import/export processes
- Experience coordinating custom broker and Customs service providers including the implementation of Business Rules, KPIs, metrics, and Scorecards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
