About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Crafting and executing a sourcing strategy including resiliency measures, quality, cost and delivery objectives.
Leading a global team with a strong background in end-to-end Supply Chain operations.
Using data and expertise to quickly assess gaps in the supply chain team’s operations and create strategies to address them.
Developing resiliency strategies raw materials to drive the Supply Chain transformation.
Setting Supply Chain Category Management and Execution vision and strategy in alignment with the Ford+ plan.
Creation and implementation of the strategic plan and objectives which will lower costs, maintain a successful supplier base, and ensure the materials needed to drive Ford’s production goals and the Ford + plan.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or similar
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Supply Chain or similar discipline
10+ years leadership experience
Functional supply chain management experience gained through previous leadership in one or more areas of the function
Strong financial and business acumen
Ability to lead complex negotiations and excellent knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
Ability to analyze and synthesize data to inform areas of opportunity
Ability to influence change across all layers of an organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present in both forms with confidence at an executive level.
Skilled at navigating a large, matrixed environment. Team player, adept at building relationships and adapting to a strong culture.
Ability to break down complex issues and implement new and innovative strategies.
