Dealer Credit Specialist

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage lending to a diverse range of dealer borrowers
- Ensure our portfolio remains secure and losses are minimized
- Proactively manage the Dealer Lending Portfolio
- Work with external advisors and establish/manage impact on Ford Credit’s security position
- Build and maintain relationships with senior management of Dealers
- Prepare and present high-quality recommendations on credit proposals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bilingual Fluency: Professional fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)
- Credit Expertise: Proven experience in commercial/corporate credit analysis, underwriting, or commercial lending
- Financial Acumen: Strong ability to analyze complex corporate financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Risk & Security Knowledge: A solid understanding of how lenders protect themselves
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently, prioritize a high-volume portfolio, and meet tight deadlines
- Desirable Requirements: Fluency in Spanish and/or Italian; Educated to degree level in Finance, Business, or equivalent
