About the role
- Work closely with product teams in data and analytics to guide and shape solution architecture.
- Develop reference implementations and proof of concepts exploring leading edge technologies and approaches in cloud, data engineering, data science and artificial intelligence.
- Help teams resolve technical challenges and clear roadblocks by leveraging your knowledge of the space and the network of architects and engineers throughout Ford and our partners.
- Develop and review solution architectures to identify opportunities for alignment with data and analytics opinionated stacks.
- Create architecture strategies to support the vision, goals and opportunities identified by the business community.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field
- Experience in at least one cloud environment
- 4 years minimum experience as a solutions architect, software developer, dev/ops engineer, cloud engineer or data scientist.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Knowledge of python and/or javascript
- Knowledge of generative AI technologies and approaches
- Knowledge of data management technologies such as GCP Big Query or PostgreSQL
