About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You are responsible for building efficient and scalable data structures.
  • You develop and manage compliance-compliant applications (using Python, SQL, VBA and the MS Power Platform) to elevate sales controlling and ensure the highest data quality.
  • You analyze complex dealer, customer and campaign data to predict future customer behavior and preferences.
  • By developing custom forecasting and predictive models, you make trends visible early and identify concrete growth and optimization opportunities.
  • You support our digital transformation in Sales & Marketing.
  • You analyze existing business processes, identify automation potential and design modern solutions — from establishing automated data flows to digitizing entire processes, for example through the targeted use of AI technologies.
  • You translate raw data into actionable business strategies.
  • Through your analyses you uncover new market potential in financing, leasing and insurance businesses, define tailored target audiences for our marketing campaigns and support strategic growth initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Your insights form the basis for our business decisions.
  • You not only create meaningful management reports but also present your recommendations directly to senior management.
  • You conduct data-driven competitive analyses, evaluate our market position and performance against industry benchmarks and derive strategic actions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in (business) informatics, computer science, economics with a quantitative focus or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in quantitative data analysis, data science or market analysis, and experience in Sales & Marketing — preferably in the automotive sector
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel including VBA, PowerPoint) and the MS Power Platform
  • Very good programming and database skills in Python and SQL, and experience with Google Dataform & BigQuery
  • Extensive knowledge in Artificial Intelligence; practical experience with AI implementation projects is a strong advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
