About the role
- Define and execute the IVI and Connectivity technology roadmap, with a deep understanding of infotainment platforms (Android Automotive, QNX, Linux), connectivity stacks (5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), and over-the-air (OTA) update systems.
- Guide engineering teams in adopting scalable, modular, and secure IVI architectures ensuring alignment with platform strategies and vehicle milestones.
- Partner with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and compliance teams to ensure robust system performance, data privacy, and regulatory alignment
- Lead portfolio planning and execution across multiple vehicle programs and digital platforms, balancing resources, risks, and priorities.
- Develop and maintain integrated schedules, dependency maps, and risk mitigation plans across IVI and connectivity feature sets.
- Ensure timely delivery of infotainment and connected services aligned with vehicle launch milestones and customer expectations.
- Build strong relationships with engineering, product, UX, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of IVI and connectivity systems.
- Influence senior leadership and stakeholders to align on priorities, trade-offs, and strategic direction.
- Facilitate cross-organizational collaboration to resolve technical and programmatic challenges.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of IVI and Connectivity TPMs, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate program status, risks, and decisions clearly and effectively to executive leadership and technical teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program execution, quality, and velocity.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in infotainment, connectivity, and digital ecosystems, bringing insights and innovation into the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior leader in Technical Program Management, preferably in IVI, connected vehicles, or consumer electronics.
- Understanding of infotainment systems, connectivity protocols, embedded software, and cloud integration.
- Strong technical background in systems engineering, software development, and hardware/software integration.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs across multiple vehicle platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams.
- Executive presence and the ability to influence and guide senior leadership.
- Passion for innovation, user experience, and delivering impactful technology.
