About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop simulator hardware and software model test systems for automotive verification testing
  • Create simulated environments to enable dynamic testing in a laboratory
  • Program, configure and update simulation test equipment to enable new and emerging feature level testing
  • Create software models to simulate hardware in test system
  • Develop scripts to automate testing and generate test reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering degree
  • 2+ years of experience with creating MATLAB & Simulink plant models that run in the real-time simulation hardware
  • 2+ years of experience programming with LabVIEW and NI tools
  • 2+ years of experience with design and modification of simulation test systems
  • 2+ years of experience with test engineering and test design using simulation
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering degree (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with creating MATLAB & Simulink plant models that run in the real-time simulation hardware (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with programming with LabVIEW and NI tools (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with design and modification of simulation test systems (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience with test engineering and test design using simulation (Preferred)
  • Experience with high voltage batteries (Preferred)
