About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

To control both manual and application systems monthly accounting journal entries. **
Preparing inputs required for credit loss reserve determination in monthly basis as well as regulatory reporting **required to be delivered. **
To analyze accounting and operating records booked in the general ledger to determine relevant variances. **
To prepare information on a monthly routine to provide to the tax team to comply with tax requirements. **
The analyst should be capable of preparing accounting reconciliations in a monthly basis. **
To have the ability to understand operating systems for downloading monthly reports **
To support finance area with all the accounting information required to comply with their close and forecasting **activities, and business plan development. **
To participate as an evaluator for the annual controls testing campaign. **
Self-management of accounting journal entries (US GAAP and Mex GAAP) and reconciliations to guarantee **competition of all activities under his charge. **
To contribute to quarterly schedules preparation whose information will be consolidated with all other regions of **Ford Motor Credit Company and fillings with SEC. **
To be capable of preparing and updating internal accounting procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferably a person with an accounting profile **
Preferably solid knowledge of accounting rules under banking regulations, Mexican financial reporting standards, **US GAAP and international audit standards **
Highly required to have the ability to communicate in English language that allows to address issues with US **team **
General knowledge of corporate policies, finance manuals and FCM activities. **
Analytical skills. **
Interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication, organization, and teamwork. **
Compliance with Ford OS Behaviors. **
Advanced use of Microsoft tools, preferably a person with knowledge in Alteryx and/or data management **applications
