About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, lead and execute workshops requested by Benchmark Engineering “customers”
Support ad-hoc requests for benchmark data information/reports
Support GPDS benchmarking deliverables
Provide FACTS, Iceberg, Auto Knowledge, Marketlines Competitive Database etc… and benchmarking training as required
Work collaboratively with A2MAC1, Caresoft , Munro and other external Ford partners to benchmark properties and perform idea generation
Support market alignment studies for specific Ford and competitive vehicle sets
Investigate alternative benchmarking strategies utilized on non-automotive properties
Produce and lead video production of competitive vehicle features and unique engineering “first finds”
Present results to teams and senior level management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
2+ years of benchmarking or design and release experience
2+ years of cross commodity experience
Interior experience preferred
Tooling or Cost Estimating experience
Fluent in the use of CAD
6-Sigma methods and statistical analysis
Ability to develop concise presentations and deliver findings to engineering and senior level management
Ability to manage multiple priorities and customers
Understanding of automotive landscape related to competitive analysis across OEM’s.
