About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You advise national and international product teams on global control policies and all information security topics and their practical implementation.
  • You support IT aspects of regulatory measures as well as audits and coordinate the corresponding remediation actions.
  • You develop and present decision papers for committees on IT security and compliance topics (e.g., SOx, CIA analyses).
  • You manage DORA incident management, including classification of incidents and reporting to BaFin.
  • You maintain IT asset repositories, identify high-value assets, and are responsible for central IT control tasks.
  • You work closely with the CISO and represent the IT department in local and global meetings.
  • In collaboration with the group, you develop KPIs/KRIs and reporting to optimize transparency in IT governance.
  • You contribute ideas to develop security-focused solutions.
  • You have experience in IT project management (Agile or Waterfall) and enjoy supporting project delivery.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree, preferably with a focus on Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Solid practical experience in IT security and compliance, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Deep knowledge of IT asset management, component assessment, APIs, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and business continuity.
  • Excellent knowledge of the DORA requirements and experience with BAIT and SOx.
  • Experience in IT project management (Agile or Waterfall) and a solid understanding of IT architectures.
  • Strong analytical thinking and experience in defining and managing KRIs/KPIs.
  • Initial leadership experience is an advantage. You communicate clearly and persuasively and enjoy working in global, multicultural teams.
  • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
  • You demonstrate consistent solution orientation and actively drive the establishment of best practices within the team.
